HUEBLER 20oz. Pool Cue - $300 (Lucedale, MS)
A 'Huebler' pool cue, bought in 1993 for a little over $ 400.00 new. It is a 20 oz cue, has always been kept in the case, which definitely shows signs of wear, when not in use, and the shaft is 'straight'- no warping. I was told it was a model AE3- not sure of this. I do not have a spare shaft. Beca ...

Hello all,
First time posting here and I have a few questions for everyone. Thanks in advanced for the help.
Pool has been a family game for us more or less. My grandfather and father purchased Huebler cues together in the late 80's: http://imgur.com/a/dBT7e. My dad's shaft is warped and my granddad's is missing his tip.
1: Recommendations for tips and a new shaft that will fit the Huebler and match the white pearl collar? I have read that a harder tip may be better for more casual play as it lasts longer and may make our game more consistent.
2: The cues weigh in at 18.6ish oz and are 57' long not counting the butt and tip. Not interested at all in selling obviously, but was wondering if anyone had a ballpark estimate to their value?
3: I just learned that Huebler unfortunately passed away this past year so it is time I pick up a Huebler cue as well before the prices sky rocket any more than they already have. I am an alright player, not serious by any means, but greatly enjoy the game and am willing to spend upwards of $200-400 for a Huebler to maintain family tradition. (In addition to my father and his father, my grandmother and a cousin also have Hueblers). However, I also understand that there may be other very nice/potentially newer cues out there for cheaper, so I am also interested in recommendations for Huebler and non-Huebler cues in the 18-19oz range (I've been playing with a 19oz cue for about as long as I can remember).
I don't know anything about cues, shafts, or tips, so any help is appreciated.
